Thermo Fisher Scientific Announces Costa Rican Expansion and New Hires in Second Half of the Year

In the short term and in response to the growing global demand for its products and services, Thermo Fisher Scientific announces 120 new vacancies in various areas, such as Customer Service, Financial Analysis, Purchasing, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Credit and Collections, and Information Technology.
“Our Costa Rican operations, via the shared services center, increased the agility of our financial processes, by implementing standards and eliminating redundancies; this has been fundamental to improving our business in the North American market. It is precisely this continued reason that allows us to grow by another 120 new employment opportunities, and we hope there will be more in 2025,” commented Francisco Maroto, Senior Human Resources Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Thermo Fisher Scientific's Costa Rican operations began in 2011 with its commercial office, and in 2016, they expanded via their shared services entity. Since then, the company’s global business services footprint has expanded, with a workforce of more than 750 employees committed to sustainable growth and innovation.
