San José, Costa Rica. November 15, 2021. Candid Co., a US based company with almost 1,000 global employees dedicated to design and produce dental aligners, has launched its operations in Costa Rica to assist the US Market with a US$200,000 investment.
The company already hired 200 collaborators that work remotely from Costa Rica and will hire another 50 up to December. From here, they design 3D Dental aligners. Candid Co. will also have operations at
WeWork in
Cariari Corporate Center.

During his visit to the company, Carlos Alvarado, the President of Costa Rica, underscored the importance of Costa Rica's highly qualified and experienced human talent as a key factor that influenced the life sciences multinational's decision to invest in the country.
For this reason, he reaffirmed his commitment to continue working to create ideal conditions, including well trained human resources, stability, and a strong investment climate, to further Costa Rica's success in attracting foreign direct investment, so that “more and more people have access to quality employment and better opportunities for improvement in their personal and family situations."
Andrés Valenciano, the Minister of Foreign Trade, also commented, “At the end of September, the foreign trade sector showed a 27% increase in goods and services exports, demonstrating how resilient the country is to ups and downs in the world economy. We celebrate Candid Co.'s launch of operations; the company is dedicated to the design and production of dental aligners and supplies the U.S. market, which will further contribute to our export offer. The company is hiring people with B1 and B2 English that have experience in dental design. However, it is also hiring without experience that are technologically skilled to learn the software. A second hiring group will be oriented to Dentists or Orthodontists who have a degree in Dentistry with or without experience.
