San José, Costa Rica – May 14, 2025. Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a global leader in real estate services and investment management, today announced the expansion of its corporate offices in Costa Rica, making them the company’s largest headquarters in Latin America. This latest milestone, which coincides with JLL’s 24th anniversary of Costa Rican operations, marks a firm step toward strengthening its footprint in the region – driven by exponential growth in both infrastructure and human talent.

Since its previous expansion in August 2023, JLL has added 242 new workstations. The latest expansion phase includes 25 new meeting spaces designed to promote collaboration, efficiency, and employee well-being.

"We’re thrilled to celebrate more than 20 years of operations in Costa Rica with this significant expansion, which deepens our commitment to the country and its people. Costa Rica has offered us an ideal environment to grow sustainably and continue innovating for our clients around the globe," commented Karen Corrales, Director of Operations for Latin America at JLL.

The company’s offices are located in Cityzen, in La Ribera de Belén, and now encompass a total of 4,200 square meters – 1,900 of which correspond to this 2025 expansion.

“We're looking to the future with enthusiasm, ready to continue innovating and growing together with Costa Rica,” Corrales added.

In terms of the company’s workforce, JLL has hired more than 250 new employees in the past year alone, generating nearly 500 jobs in Costa Rica.

“We congratulate JLL on fulfilling its growth promise and for continuing to place its trust in Costa Rican talent. As a strategic partner, CINDE is honored to once again accompany JLL in this expansion journey – one that not only reaffirms our country’s ability to attract high-value-added operations, but that also further strengthens Costa Rica’s position as a leading hub for knowledge-intensive services,” said Ana María Romero, Investment Advisory Manager.

JLL’s evolution in Costa Rica has clearly illustrated the services sector’s dynamism. According to CINDE data, this sector attracted the largest number of new companies to the country over the past year and registered the highest volume of reinvestments.

“Costa Rica is now home to JLL’s largest office in Latin America, and without a doubt, this represents a major opportunity for the country to attract new business lines that translate into more jobs and greater knowledge transfer for local talent,” concluded Romero.

JLL is currently hiring for open positions in areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, procurement, technology, sales, and facilities management. Applicants must have a minimum English proficiency level of B2. Interested candidates may apply at: https://jll.wd1.myworkdayjobs.com/es/jllcareers
