San José, Costa Rica, April 23. Cencora, a global healthcare company, has announced its plans to hire an additional 240 people after opening its new shared services center, located at America Free Zone (AFZ), Heredia, as part of its global strategy.

The U.S.-based multinational has a global presence in over 1,300 locations across more than 50 countries. Cencora began operating in Costa Rica in 2023 and currently manages a workforce of 160 employees, with a planned expansion to 400 people by the end of 2024.

It's expected that 240 additional people will join Cencora's shared services center in Costa Rica.
