San José, Costa Rica, February 16th, 2024. Movate, a digital technology and customer experience (CX) services provider, has inaugurated its third
Costa Rica-based global delivery center. This milestone marks a decade of successful operations in the region. The center will further strengthen the company’s regional presence by harnessing the expertise of highly skilled
local talent with multilingual capabilities to deliver top-notch technical support and digital services to Movate’s global clientele.
The new state-of-the-art facility, located in
Ultra-LAG, Lagunilla, Heredia, has over 600 seats spread across 43,100 square feet. With ultramodern office floors, recreational areas, smart conference rooms, and modern training labs, this workspace is designed to foster an environment of
creativity and
innovation.
Like Movate's two well-established centers in the Greater Metropolitan Area, the new facility, will capitalize on the nation’s rich talent pool, robust infrastructure, and favorable time zone for global operations. Additionally, the new facility will provide a gateway for Movate's worldwide clients to leverage the operational and technical expertise offered in the region, with support available in languages such as English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.
Sunil Mittal, CEO, Movate said,
“We're happy to announce a significant milestone in our journey to leverage top global talent for delivering best-in-class services. This expansion to a new state-of-the-art facility in Heredia reiterates Movate’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of its clients while contributing to the flourishing job market in Costa Rica. We have witnessed a fivefold workforce growth in recent years and have strategically outlined comprehensive expansion plans for this region, capitalizing on Costa Rica's youthful and skilled workforce. We are thankful to the government and the local bodies for their support and look forward to continuing the collaboration as we scale our operations in the region.”“Costa Rica serves as a catalyst for Movate's expansion in the Americas region due to its strategic geographical position, favorable business environment, and robust talent pool. We have charted a high growth trajectory here in recent years, which is reflective of the competent local talent and our digital-infused solutions that drive impeccable customer experiences,” said Aaron Fender, Executive Vice President and Chief Delivery Officer for Movate's Digital CX business.
“Movate has established a global network of delivery centers, ensuring an optimal blend of onshore, nearshore, and offshore presence. Recognizing the importance of a substantial footprint in Latin America (LATAM), where numerous competitors and clients are already active, Costa Rica was selected as Movate's trusted location eleven years ago. The inauguration of Movate's third center marks a significant milestone, solidifying their position as a key player in the knowledge-based service sector in our country,” commented Marianela Urgellés, General Director of
CINDE.
